Varied

Everyone around the world has very diverse cultural backgrounds.

I can never tell apart my cousins because they are identical twins.


Benevolent

kind; good-hearted; generous

The lady was nothing but benevolent when I helped her carry her groceries.

The cavemen seemed to be very barbaric due to there lack of advanced civilization.


Pious

reverent or devout; outwardly 

The Pope is very pious towards God and the Church.


Antonym: Disloyal

The children were very disloyal to their parents when they lied about the broken vase.


Conciliatory

 making peace; attempting to solve a dispute through goodwill

Her conciliatory actions showed that she really wanted to get along with her brother.

  
Antonym: disharmonize

The trumpet disharmonized the whole song due to its broken note.


Resignation

 reluctant acceptance of a bad situation

I wasn't sure about my resignation towards her bad choice but in the end I couldn't change it.


Antonym: Surrender

He surrendered to the other country's army because he wanted peace.


Resolute

determined; firm; unwavering 


I was resolute in doing my homework because I know my grade will improve.

I was hesitant to go on the roller coaster because I am afraid of heights.
